Hello I am Vonda E. Johnson, the CEO & Founder of Phenomenal Women of a New Generation Inc. and F.I.E.R.C.E. Girls Mentorship. As a mentor, I serve as both a force and a shield for girls and young women from all walks of life. Through F.I.E.R.C.E. Girls Mentorship, I meet young women exactly where they are—fostering confidence, sharing wisdom, and leading with compassion and unshakable faith. I believe that every day offers an opportunity to reach a new milestone. Encouraging mentees to embrace the philosophy that small goals lead to huge achievements, in our program, we don’t just measure goals; we conquer them. Being a pillar of my community is central to my identity. Since founding this organization, I have become a member of the National Association of Professional Women and was honored as an Upstate Black History Maker by 107.3 JAMZ. Additionally, I serve as a South Carolina Notary Public and as the local Chapter President for the Zeta Alpha Psi Sisterhood. Professionally, I serve as a Children and Youth Care Specialist for a non-profit dedicated to empowering families to move beyond public assistance. Our work involves providing the counseling, mentorship, and accountability necessary to achieve financial independence. To me, this is far more than a job—it is my life’s passion. Phenomenal Women Of A New Gener ation Inc P.W.O.A.N.G. Inc. is a dedicated non-profit organization mentoring female youth through our signature F.I.E.R.C.E. Girls Mentorship program—which means we are Focused on Independence , Education , Real -life skills, Core values, and Empowerment . Since its founding in August 2009, P.W.O.A.N.G. Inc. has been a cornerstone of the Upstate, South Carolina community. Our commitment to excellence has been recognized with the Dream Chaser Award from Carolina Girls Rock, a Recognition of Excellence for Empowering Women from The Women’s Empowerment Organization, and an acknowledgment from the Clemson Rotary Club for our dedication to improving lives. A defining moment in our journey was a personal invitation from Latina Burelle of 107.3 JAMZ to an exclusive event featuring pop star Janelle Monáe. In an intimate "members only" setting, we engaged in a Q&A session and photo opportunity with Janelle, who shared her profound passion for Girl Power. While these accolades are humbling, our greatest reward remains witnessing the tangible, positive transformation in the lives of the young women we serve. Guest Book Guest Book Adrienne Clark We are expanding our group and it is such a blessing. It's such a great feeling being around positive people and to know that you are making a difference in somebody's life. Everybody is different and is beautiful in God's eyes. Never give up on a child cause God never gives up on you!! Be blessed everyone!! Mr. Adam Johnson Mrs. Johnson, I want to congratulate you on the success of your organization! I have watch you struggle, revise, regroup and rebrand this organization. It hasn’t been easy for you and it hasn’t been easy watching from “your husband’s” point of view. I have seen you put your blood, sweat and a lot of tears into this. You never gave up you are well on the way no one or nothing can stop you! We now see the expectation and urgency that you have for these young ladies and that they are truly a “Reflection of Your Vision” I am excited to see your achievements and even more elated to be the husband of a True Phenomenal Woman! Continue to teach these Queens of tomorrow how to truly wear a crown! A. Davis I just wanted to say how I really enjoyed the Coaches 4 Character yesterday at Redemption Church in Greenville yesterday. Tony Elliott from Clemson spoke yesterday and his message was really powerful. The thing I love the most was how he broke down the word HEART. H-HUMILITY, E-EFFORT, A-ACCOUNTABILITY, R-RESPECT, T-TOUGHNESS. No matter your age if you was there you would have gotten something out of his message. I really want to thank our girls for being well behaved and representing our group very good. It really is appreciated especially when you see how some kids misbehave and the grown-ups just sit there and look and say nothing. Kids need direction so they won't be out here raising themselves. I really want to thank our leader Vonda Johnson for even starting this organization, because it is really helping the young ladies become strong, confident, and smart young women. I just love my group and is very proud to be a apart of this loving sisterhood!! Love you all and God Bless !!!! Barbara Donald So many times I hear we need something for young woman to help guide, encourage, and strengthen them....well this is it!!! Phenomenal Women is filled with the love and everything needed to help these young women grow!! I pray belssings abundantly and encourage you to keep up the great work!!! Alexis Johnson This organization has been on of the best things that has happened to me. There's never a dull moment with them. We learn so many life lessons like communication, role modelship, and planning our future. We have an amazing group of mentors that help us out with any and everything we need. It's something about knowing that you have a group of people that love you and that are there for you. It's a great feeling and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Jessica Moore It's such a blessing to me to get to work with these group of girls. I'm so glad to be a mentor and to be able to help these girls anyway I can. I can relate to some of the problems the girls face in school, like bullying, low self esteem, etc. because I went through it, so to be able to help someone else through it is a blessing. Some people don't have mentors or someone to talk to for help and it's more and more young girls turning to suicide as the answer. It's really sad, but oh so true. As long as God give me breath in my body I will strive to be the best mentor/sister I can be, because I consider the girls as my little sisters and I always want the best for my family. Please keep us in your prayers as we help bring up some of the most smart, and intelligent group of young ladies into some beautiful and successful women. It just makes things so easy when you love what you do and I really love and enjoy what I do and the women and young ladies I do it with.We have a great sisterhood going on and nothing but better things to come for us in 2018!! God bless you all!!!! Vannessa Clark These girls are our future!! We all know that butterflies go through a process to bloom into something beautiful!! Its a joy mentoring these girls & forming personal bonds along the way! Our goal is to see The Prodigious Butterflies blossom into the future doctors, lawyers, teachers, etc.. Phenomenal Women is who we are & Prodigious Butterflies shall be..PHENOMENAL!!! **Watch Them Successfully Fly High** Taracia Jackson I love this group. It has helped me open up and be myself. I honestly would not he the person that I am today without these girls. They have helped me tremendously. I can honestly say that they are my family and I would go to bat for them. Women of Excellence FGM O, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Psalm 133:1 "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." We pray blessings of abundance for "Phenomenal Women of a New Generation" Praying God will continue to enlarge your territory with blessings.. W.O.E. F.I.E.R.C.E Girls Mentorship Girls Breaking Barriers For Life Breaking Barriers For Life Behind The Meaning: "We are committed to fostering a safe space where young women can grow, build trust, and develop the skills necessary for a successful future. By offering hands-on experiences in networking, community outreach, and career development, we empower them to evolve into leaders and active, successful women." BREAKING BARRIERS FOR LIFE. Reaching For Goals, Over Perfection Reshma Saujani inspires us with her message: Bravery and a readiness to embrace failure — sometimes in spectacular ways — should lead the charge in girls' education, and we couldn't agree more! When girls learn to be brave, they grow to become unstoppable and confident. Confidence empowers them to set bold goals and embrace their authentic selves, disregarding the negative thoughts and discouraging opinions of others. We strive to CHAMPION girls reaching for GOALS over PERFECTION. Self Love Teaching Self-Love Through Self-Care We teach our female youth the importance of SELF-LOVE because it enhances their ability the recognize SELF-VALUE. SELF-LOVE can also add to female youths' abilities to make healthier life choices and well-being. In doing so, they become more resilient to challenges and obstacles which aid in better decision making, self-confidence and self-esteem increases. They begin to notice an increase in academic achievements and even more, an overall sense of self. Self- Love Quote "Until you LOVE YOURSELF, you will never know who you really are and you won't know what you are really capable of." Louise Hay Healthy Relationships Family Oriented It is important for our youth to resonate with self-love, respect, positive peer interaction, social skills, healthy relationships, good communication skills, and TRUST. Is there anything more important? YES ! Being educated, having the ability to recognize when they are in an unhealthy relationship / environment or associating with a person or people who make them feel as disruptive livelihoods are normal is all part of healthy relationship building, learning how to draw boundaries, mental health awareness and being equipped, prepared readiness to Break Barriers For Life.
